The factory, the machines, the people
The history of an industrial company doesn’t end with its economic dimension: it is made up of technological research, professional skills, training, projects, patents, commercial successes and failures. And again, fatigue, illness, conflicts, mediations, human victories and defeats.
In order to rediscover the past of such an important company in all its aspects, to preserve the memory of the men who dedicated their hard work, commitment and intelligence to it, it was decided to entrust a local expert with the task of writing its century-long history, knowing that it would not be an easy task, especially given the dispersal and mutilation of the company’s archives.
